Two Skills I Have Learned So Far in the Google Power Searching Classes

Throughout the two classes of Google power seaching, I have learned many things. One of the best new thing that I learned in the first class is using control F to find a specific word on a big document. I will use this tool a lot more often now that I know that it exists.

In class 2, I leaned what a snippet was. It is a brief summary of the web page with the key words from your query highlighted. I never knew that it was called a snippet. It is a very useful tool if you want to see what the main topics of the web page are to see if it's right for what your searching.

My Dog Buddy

Every since my dog died in 2003, my family has always wanted a dog. So a few days before christmas in 2007, my parents suprised us with news that we where going to get another dog. They let us help pick out a dog. We all wanted a Golden Retriever so thats what we went with. His adoption was Buddy so we just stuck with it. Every since we got him, he was a joy to be around. He is very social, but not to social where he is annoying. He is also very well trained. He is currently 8-9 years old.
